Grants at Concordia

Institutional, federal and state need-based grants are available to all incoming students based on demonstrated financial need and vary in amount. In order to be eligible for need-based aid, you must show demonstrated financial need by filing FAFSA annually. Awarded federal, state and institutional aid are taken into consideration when determining need-based grant levels.

TEACH Grant Program

The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides grants up to $4,000 per year to students who agree to serve as full-time teachers in a high-need field for four years in a public or private elementary school, secondary school or educational service agency that serves students from low-income families.

Federal Grants

State Grant 

The Nebraska Opportunity Grant (NOG) are available to students who are Nebraskaresidents and have demonstrated financial need by filling your FAFSA annually.Concordia will award to students according to their financial need. Once you complete the FAFSA, there are no other application you need to complete.

Pell Grants 

Federal Pell Grants are federal awards based on financial need. Students are required to complete a FAFSA to determine eligibility. The amount can vary and students would need to reapply every year. 

Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) 

This is another federal award based on financial need and students are required to complete an FAFSA to determine eligibility. Students must qualify for a Federal Pell Grant in order to be eligible. Concordia will award to students according to their financial need. Once you complete a FAFSA, there are no other application you need to complete.
