Concordia jumped out to a 49-24 halftime lead and cruised to a 95-63 women’s basketball win over Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon in Seward. The Bulldogs moved to 6-4 overall and 2-2 in GPAC play with the victory.
Doane College hit 13 3-pointers and upset Concordia 87-72 on Wednesday evening in Crete. The Tigers improved to 2-7 overall and 1-1 in GPAC play with the victory. Concordia slipped to 5-4 overall and 1-2 in GPAC play with the loss.
Concordia University picked up its first conference win of the season with an 81-72 win over Midland University on Tuesday evening in Fremont.
Morningside College used hot shooting from the foul line and from three point land to pull away for an 89-74 women’s basketball win over Concordia on Saturday afternoon in Seward.
Concordia University held on for a 66-62 women’s basketball win over Bethel College on Tuesday evening. Three players scored in double figures to lead the Bulldogs to the victory. Concordia improved to 4-2 on the year with the win.
