Concordia University played to a 1-1 men’s soccer tie at McPherson College on Wednesday evening. The Bulldogs moved to 0-1-2 on the year. McPherson College is 0-0-1 to start the season.
Iowa Wesleyan scored in the 88th minute to secure a 1-0 men’s soccer win over Concordia on Saturday afternoon.
Concordia University and William Penn University played to a 0-0 men’s soccer tie on Friday evening. It was the opening game of the year for both squads.
The Concordia University men’s soccer team will look to bounce back following a challenging 2009 season. The Bulldogs went 4-13-1 overall last year with a 2-9-1 record in conference play. Concordia was selected 11th in the GPAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
