Professor Seth Boggs has been teaching at Concordia University, Nebraska since 2007, where he leads the graphic design program and teaches printmaking within the Department of Art. In addition to his responsibilities within the classroom, he currently serves as the interim department chair and actively advises art majors. Previously, Boggs also served as a sponsor of the Art Club, fostering a vibrant artistic community among students.
Boggs holds an M.F.A. in Visual Art from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in Boston, Massachusetts, which he completed in 2013. His academic journey began at Concordia University Nebraska, where he earned a B.F.A. in both Commercial Art and Studio Art in 2003.
Boggs has extensive experience as a graphic designer, illustrator and art director and has been blessed to collaborate with a variety of clients throughout the past few decades. In his free time, he transforms public and private spaces with large-scale murals under the alias BOGZILLA, with one notable work featured at the DogHouse Grill on the Concordia campus.
Outside of academia, Boggs is a music leader at the ROCK Lutheran Church, where he developed graphic design elements and branding over the years. He previously served on the church board of directors and was involved in the initial church plant in 2008.
Seth and his wife, Megan (Kropf) ’02, live in Seward with their two children.

Art Education
