Direct Admit Program
Concordia University, Nebraska, is proud to participate in the Concordia University System (CUS) Direct Admit Program. This partnership between the Concordia University System and Lutheran high schools is designed to simplify and streamline the college admissions process for students and their families.
The program expands college opportunities for students, especially those from Lutheran educational backgrounds, and encourages Lutheran high school students to consider continuing their education at one of our Concordia universities.

How do I know if my Lutheran high school is participating in the CUS Direct Admit program?
Participating Lutheran high schools are asked to share information about the CUS Direct Admit Program with their families and provide an opportunity for families to opt out if desired.
If your family has not received communication from your school about the CUS Direct Admit Program, please contact your school office to ask whether they are participating.
My Lutheran high school has decided not to participate in the CUS Direct Admit Program. How can I still apply for admission?
Some Lutheran high schools may choose not to participate in the CUS Direct Admit Program for a variety of reasons. If you would still like to apply for admission to Concordia University, Nebraska, simply complete our free undergraduate application. The application typically takes about 15 minutes to complete.
I have been admitted to Concordia through the CUS Direct Admit Program. What should I do next?
Congratulations on your acceptance!
You should have received an email from Concordia after you were admitted via the Direct Admit program with login info for our student application portal. In the portal under “returning user”, you will find a document titled Post-Acceptance form. Please complete this short form at your earliest convenience. If you cannot locate the email containing your login info, please contact the Admissions Office at 402-643-7233 or admiss@cune.edu.
We also encourage you to visit campus, either for a personal visit or a group Visit Day.
Why am I completing the “Post-Acceptance form” if I have already been admitted?
Your admission to Concordia is genuine; however, there is additional info we would appreciate learning about your academic and extracurricular interests, which will allow us to award you additional grants and scholarships. Please note that the Post-Acceptance form must be submitted before we can send you a personalized financial aid offer.
Okay! I’ve been admitted to Concordia and really like what I see. How do I officially become a Concordia student?
If you have determined that Concordia is the right college for you, we ask that you submit your enrollment fee. This fee signifies to Concordia that you plan to enroll and would like to begin receiving information about class registration, residence hall placement, choosing a roommate, etc. Welcome to the Concordia family!
