For those arriving on August 20, you either picked a check-in time during July or were assigned one. You should be able to see your check-in time on the portal near the housing information by August 6 or within 1 week of confirming.

Required forms will be sent out throughout the spring and summer from the Admissions Office (Housing Contract, Course Pre-Registration, FERPA, etc.) Please contact your Admissions Counselor with any questions. 

Auditions will take place on Friday, August 22 and Saturday, August 23. If you want to participate in an ensemble, sign-ups for auditions will be available this summer.

Music Ensemble Information 

If you just want to meet our awesome health center staff or have a few basic questions about their services, they will be available for all students on the move-in days without an appointment. However, some students with chronic or other severe medical conditions appreciate having a conversation with our health center staff when they first arrive on campus. Our Nurse Practitioner, Suzanne Briggs, is offering appointments on move-in day and throughout the first week of school for anyone who would like a private opportunity to give more details than were provided on your health forms.

Housing applications for new students open Tuesday, March 24.

To help you get ready, we’re hosting a virtual Bulldog Housing Bash the night before—March 23 at 7 P.M. (Central Time). It’s a fun way to get your questions answered, meet other Concordia students, and maybe win a door prize!  We also plan to host some follow up Q&A sessions for any students who aren't able to attend. 
If you already have a preferred roommate, you can list them on your application and create a roommate group. If not, you’ll be able to make a roommate profile and search for potential roommates from March 24 to June 20. Once you find someone, we’ll get you assigned a room! If you don’t have a roommate by mid–late June, we’ll help match you with one.

Concordia has a variety of breaks throughout the year without classes. The residence halls and dining services are closed for some of them. Please mark your calendars now for when you will need to be out of the dorms and plan break travel accordingly. (If you are an athlete who has competitions during the breaks your coach will give you information about housing and meals.)

• Fall Break – October 16-19 – Dorms and Dining Hall open
• Thanksgiving Break – Dorms and Dining Closed November 21 at 10am through November 29 at 10 a.m. 
• Christmas Break – Dorms and Dining Closed December 18 at 10 a.m. through January 10 at 10 a.m.
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day – January 18 – Dorms and Dining Hall Open
• Spring Break – Dorms and Dining Closed March 6 at 10 a.m. through March 14 at 10 a.m.
• Easter Break – March 26-29 – Dorms and Dining Hall open
• Move Out at End of Year – Dorms Close to all non-graduating students at 10 a.m. on Friday May 7.

NOTE: All regular residence hall rooms are be supplied with a combination microwave/mini-fridge unit! Because these are provided, personal mini-fridges or microwaves will not be allowed.
