Lorraine Haupt graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a B.M.E. and returned for a master’s degree in music education. She taught K-12 vocal and instrumental music in private and public schools and has been teaching private lessons for over 35 years. She has a large music studio in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she gives lessons to 3-year-olds through retired adults. Her primary instrument is flute, but she teaches various woodwind instruments, piano and guitar.
