Jen Janousek has taught at Concordia since 2001. Her favorite part of the job is teaching global health courses, because she gets to lead students on international mission trips. She is also responsible for heading Concordia’s Master of Public Health program and teaching classes at both the graduate and undergraduate level.

Janousek is a member of the Public Health Association of Nebraska (PHAN), the American Public Health Association (APHA), and the Society of Public Health Education (SOPHE). Her dissertation research focused on college women's knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and predictors of acceptance of the HPV vaccine.

Jen and her husband, Tim, have four children.
