While hosting its own invitational, Concordia placed sixth out of eight teams in an event held Oak Creek Sporting Club in Brainard, Neb. Ethan Cradick finished 21st high overall with the team's top score.
Erin Lokke took the crown on the women's side at the Prairie Circuit Classic (Sept. 30) held in North Platte. Lokke and the Bulldogs placed third in three different categories. Seventeen Bulldogs competed at the event.
Seth Willard and the Concordia trap and skeet team did their best work in skeet, placing third at the Fort Hays State Shoot (Sept. 16-17) in Hays, Kan. The Bulldogs placed fifth in the overall competition.
Concordia trap and skeet opened up the 2017-18 season by placing fifth at the Shocker Fall Classic hosted by Wichita State. Erin Lokke turned in Concordia's top score and Sabra Moore placed at a meet for the first time.
Competing at the national championships for the second time in school history, the Bulldogs finished 12th. Individually, Erin Lokke starred, placing third in the international skeet shoot off at the event held in San Antonio, Texas.

Behind another stellar outing from Erin Lokke, who won the tournament on the women's side, Concordia trap and skeet placed second as a team at the Association of College Unions International Annual Clay Targets Tournament.
It was a historic moment for Concordia trap and skeet, which hosted its own invitational over the weekend (Oct. 22-23) at Oak Creek Sporting Club. Wyatt Pursell placed fifth out of 84 shooters to top the Bulldogs.
