  • Hawkin Dynamics force plates to measure ground reaction forces produced during walking, jumping or any other type of movement 
  • BOD POD, featuring air displacement plethysmography (ADP) system using whole body densitometric principles to determine body composition 
  • Parvo Medics TrueOne 2400 metabolic measurement system for cardiopulmonary stress testing and maximal O2 consumption measurement 
  • EXERTECH hydrostatic weighing (underwater weighing) system 
  • Catapult athletic monitoring system to optimize performance, reduce risk of injury and improve recovery

Eunice Goldgrabe Scholarship 

Each year, Concordia awards current students the Eunice Goldgrabe Health and Human Performance Scholarship, given to those who lead a lifestyle deemed exemplary in the HHP Department. The scholarship honors the legacy and service of Dr. Eunice Goldgrabe, Professor Emeritus.

Phi Epsilon Kappa 

Phi Epsilon Kappa (PEK) is a national professional academic honorary society for students engaged in or pursuing careers in health and human performance professions. In order to become a member, students must maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.25, major in some aspect of health and human performance, have at least junior standing, provide service to the Concordia community and participate in extracurricular activities.
