Black Box Theatre 

Concordia’s Black Box Theater, housed in the Borland Center for Music and Theatre, offers a flexible performance space where students explore acting, directing and stagecraft in a creative, experimental setting that brings stories to life up close. 

The Sower Newsroom 

Concordia’s student-run newspaper, The Sower, works out of a collaborative newsroom, giving journalism and communication students hands-on experience in reporting, editing and digital publishing using professional tools and real deadlines.

Concordia University, Nebraska’s Rho Omicron chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, a national honor society for students studying English, is devoted to promoting scholarship among students of English at Concordia and interest in English language and literature among all students on campus.

Concordia University, Nebraska’s Curtain Club is for students interested in the dramatic arts. Members of the club are involved in various campus productions, including the two yearly major productions, Readers Theatre and One Act Plays. The IMPROVables, a student-led improv troupe, is also a part of Curtain Club.
