Ryan Burger has taught at Concordia since 2010. Ryan attended Concordia Nebraska and was named the Outstanding Student in Business in 2004. Ryan worked for four years at the Nebraska State Auditor’s Office before joining Gabriel, Burger & Else, CPAs. Ryan enjoys sports and spending time with his wife, Lisa — a former teacher at Lincoln Lutheran Middle & High School. Being married to a Lutheran schoolteacher helped fuel Ryan’s desire to understand and grasp housing allowance and other complicated Lutheran minister/teacher tax concepts. Ryan and Lisa are both members of Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln and have three children.
