Dr. Kimberly Clark brings a diverse background in animal and plant sciences, agribusiness and leadership studies to her role as associate professor of agriculture at Concordia University, Nebraska. Her teaching portfolio includes a wide range of courses in plant management, farm and ranch operations, commodity marketing, food science, genetics and agricultural leadership.
Dr. Clark holds a Ph.D. in Human Sciences with a focus on Leadership Studies, as well as a Master of Agriculture with a minor in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree, all from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Her scholarly work has produced more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts, with ongoing research interests in global engagement, leadership development and the economic impact of dairy processing.
Clark is an active leader and volunteer in the Seward community. She has served as treasurer of the Seward Swim Club, co-chair of a parish circle for the Parish Council of Catholic Women at St. Vincent de Paul Church and a fundraising committee member for Scouts Troop #256. In recognition of her contributions to the dairy industry, she was named Nebraska Dairy Person of the Year by the Nebraska State Dairy Association.
Dr. Clark and her husband, Jason, have two children, Olivia and Liam, who are active in sports and local activities. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening and reading. She shares her love for global exploration by leading Concordia students on international study tours each year.
