949-424-9154 kathleen.vonkampen@cune.eduKathleen von Kampen has served at Concordia University, Nebraska since 2019, initially as Director of Counseling Services until 2023, when she transitioned into her current role as Program Director for the M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and M.S. in Family Life Education (FLE) graduate programs. She earned her B.A. in Theology from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2010, graduating as a certified Director of Christian Education (DCE), and completed her M.A. in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University in 2015. In her dual role as instructor and administrator, von Kampen teaches and revises coursework, supports and works with students, facilitates adjunct faculty roles and provides supervision for students in their clinical practicum coursework as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate.
von Kampen is married to Concordia Nebraska alum Paul von Kampen CO’11, and together they are blessed with two children. They are members of King of Kings Lutheran Church and School in Roseville, Minnesota, where Paul serves as the Director of Choral Activities at Concordia University, St. Paul.
