Jeannine Liebmann earned her psychology undergraduate degree at Concordia University Wisconsin in the early 1990s, where she met her husband Bob Liebmann. She spent the next decade raising their three young sons while Bob attended seminary and started his ministry in North Carolina and St. Louis.

In 2005, Liebmann graduated from Lindenwood University with a Master's in Professional Counseling and started working in a community mental health center. She also provided counseling to students and their families through the Seminary Counseling Center, where she developed an ADHD assessment and coaching process.

After she earned her LPC license, she started her own practice, growing it alongside working for CenterPointe Hospital in their Intensive Outpatient programs. After a few years, she left the hospital to focus solely on her practice and public speaking, giving presentations on ADHD, marriage and other topics for various organizations.

In 2014, Liebmann joined a small, family-owned Employee Assistance & Wellness company as an EAP counselor and consultant. She enjoys the variety of her work with the company - developing and giving trainings to small and large groups, responding to critical workplace incidents and counseling individuals and couples.

Her jobs have also offered her the flexibility to teach in different settings. She has taught undergraduate classes at St. Louis Community College, deaconess classes at Concordia Seminary and now graduate courses at Concordia University, Nebraska.

Liebmann loves to travel with her husband and enjoys hiking, trying new ethnic restaurants and spending time with friends and family. The couple has three grown sons.

“I want to teach at Concordia because everything we teach here starts with God's truth. I can openly share the truth of God's Word here, and starting from these truths, I can guide students in the most effective ways to share truth with hurting people, in broken relationships. I can't imagine teaching counseling courses anywhere but in a Christ-centered university like Concordia.”
