Dr. George Arnold serves as the director of Concordia University, Nebraska’s Master of Business Administration program. In this role, he is the primary advocate and administrator for the MBA, overseeing faculty hiring and development, program assessment and curriculum planning. He works closely with admissions, marketing and student services to recruit, support and retain graduate students. 

Dr. Arnold brings decades of leadership experience in higher education and business, having served in administrative and teaching roles at institutions across the country. He has taught in Concordia’s MBA program since 2018 and became director in 2024. Prior to joining Concordia, Dr. Arnold served as an academic dean, faculty member and consultant specializing in project management and business leadership. 

He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, as well as master’s degrees in computer resource management and in management from Webster University. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University. 

Dr. Arnold is passionate about helping students grow as confident, faith-centered leaders. He values Concordia Nebraska’s Christ-centered community and sees his work as both professional and deeply personal.  

Originally from California, Dr. Arnold now lives in San Tan Valley, Arizona, with his wife Susan. Together they have a blended family of seven children, 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is active in his church, Christ Church of the Valley, and leads neighborhood Bible studies. In his free time, Dr. Arnold enjoys traveling, acoustic guitar and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
