Born in Poland and raised in the United States, Dr. Dominika Falsey has always valued global experiences and cultural diversity. Over the years, she has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the U.S., deepening her appreciation for different cultures, traditions and perspectives that continue to influence both her professional and personal life.
Dr. Falsey earned a bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, followed by an Executive MBA from Colorado Technical University. In March 2020, she completed her doctorate at CTU, with a dissertation focused on motivation for online professors in higher education.
Falsey's professional journey began in higher education, where from 2005 to 2011 she served as a military director of admissions. In this role, she trained and developed teams of admission advisors across the Chicago area, partnered with military bases to promote the benefits of online education and helped establish scholarship programs for wounded warriors. For the past 20 years, she has continued to share her passion for education as an online university instructor, teaching a wide range of business courses.
Among her proudest achievements are earning her doctorate, traveling the world with her husband and three children and supporting her extended family whenever possible. Highly goal-oriented, her five-year vision includes continued growth within ANU, serving as a role model for her children and expanding her expertise in the business world.
Outside of her career, Dr. Falsey enjoys exploring new countries, immersing herself in different cultures, reading fiction, trying unique foods and most importantly, spending quality time with her family.
