Dr. Bob Sarver joined the Concordia University, Nebraska MBA program as an adjunct instructor in 2025. He brings extensive experience in higher education, logistics and supply chain management. Most recently, he served as business department chair at Waldorf University, where he launched the MBA program as its first program director and established the undergraduate operations management major. Prior to his academic career, he spent many years with Walmart Supply Chain as a senior director, overseeing store and internet fulfillment and gaining valuable international experience.
Dr. Sarver holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Wilmington University, an MBA from Saint Ambrose University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a member of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) and holds Lean Six Sigma certification from the University of Texas at San Antonio, as well as a Teaching Lean certificate from the IISE.
Bob and his wife, Cindy, live in northern Iowa and have two adult children and two grandchildren. He recently completed a Certificate in Christian Theology and is pursuing a Lutheran Lay Ministry Certification. He enjoys serving in his church by preaching when needed and sharing his faith in local congregations. Outside of work and ministry, he loves hunting, fishing and playing golf.
