Her scholarly work includes more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and over 100 proceedings abstracts.

She is an active member of the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) and the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS). Dr. Watson and her husband, Doug, live on a small farm with their daughter, Maggie. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors and working together to care for their crops and animals.

“I truly enjoy getting to know students in my classes and am thankful for smaller class sizes. I also enjoy the chance to worship together at Chapel each day and share devotions or lessons from the Bible in class. Jesus used agriculture in many parables and there are so many ways to incorporate the Bible into learning about agriculture. ”
