Deb Jurchen serves as Director of University Institutes and as an adjunct professor in the Family Life Education graduate program, teaching the courses Family Life Ministry and Parent Education.
Deb Jurchen holds a B.F.A. in K-12 Art Education from Concordia University, Nebraska, and an M.S.E. in Family Life Education from Concordia University, Wisconsin & Ann Arbor. She has a background in Lutheran Education having taught all ages Pre-K through 12th grade.
Jurchen also serves as Family Life Ministry Consultant for the Nebraska District LCMS. She is a speaker and writer on Family Life Ministry topics across the synod with the goal of equipping households to be lifelong disciples of Christ. Deb and her husband, Rev. Dr. Pete Jurchen, have five children and reside in Seward, Nebraska. She loves hiking, gardening and staying active with her kids!
