Dr. Curt Beck joined Concordia University, Nebraska's business department in 2012. Dr. Beck brings a background in higher education, public administration and business. Most recently, Dr. Beck served as the Dean of Faculty and Associate Professor of Business Administration at Belhaven University. Previously, Dr. Beck served as the Deputy Commissioner of the Nebraska Department of Labor under Governor Mike Johanns. He and his wife, Sanine, own and operate Little Learners Christian Preschool and Academy in Lincoln. They have a son, Jeremiah.
Dr. Beck serves as the Director of the Institute for Ethical Leadership and the head coach of Concordia’s Competitive Leadership Team. Under Dr. Beck’s leadership, the team earned first place at the Collegiate Leadership Competition (CLC) in both 2023 and 2024. In addition to these roles, Dr. Beck is the host of the Skillful at Work podcast.
