Amy Hubach is an assistant professor and DCE Internship Site Coordinator at Concordia University, Nebraska. She earned her B.A. in Theology and was certified as a Director of Christian Education (DCE) from Concordia Nebraska, her master’s in clinical counseling with an emphasis in trauma, grief and crisis from Northwest Nazarene University and is currently working on her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University.
She loves to look into the depth of God’s Word and help lead people to a deeper relationship with Christ through personal Bible study and speaking at LWML Rallies and women’s retreats. She has led mission/servant trips to Mexico; Guatemala; Jamaica; Neah Bay, Washington; Bigfork, Montana; Nicaragua; Hong Kong; Peru and Tanzania. She is the 2016 recipient of the Lux Christi Award. In her spare time, Amy enjoys a great discussion with the Novel Readers Book Club. Amy and her husband Riley have three daughters: Marlee, Ella and Maya, and one dog, Weezer.

Working in the DCE Program at Concordia allows me to share my faith and walk with students on the journey to becoming a church worker. I get to sit with students on their best and worst days; I get to cheer students on and I get to train them up from student to professional. This school in the small town of Seward, Nebraska, is changing the world.”
