Abundant Life Wellness Initiative
The Abundant Life Wellness Initiative at Concordia University, Nebraska exists to nurture the well-being of individuals and communities through Christ-centered wellness education, care and connection. Grounded in the grace and compassion of Jesus Christ, the initiative supports emotional resilience, spiritual growth and healthy relationships, empowering people to thrive in their academic, personal and vocational lives.

Key Areas of Focus
Educational Resources
Create workshops, literature and online content to educate and attend to the spiritual wellness and mental health of individuals, families and communities.
Holistic Healing
Address mental, emotional and spiritual well-being through a faith-based framework.
Rural & Small-Town Ministry
Collaborate with the Institute for Rural and Small-Town Ministry to serve and support the shortage of mental health resources in rural areas.
Community and Relational Health
Collaborate with local non-profit wellness agencies to provide supervised therapeutic experiences under licensed professionals on Concordia Nebraska’s campus and in Seward and the greater community.
The Abundant Life Wellness Initiative is a multidisciplinary effort that brings together faculty, student services and external partners to cultivate a culture of health, care and flourishing. Through programming, partnerships and professional development opportunities, the initiative supports students, faculty, staff and Christians serving faithfully in their vocations.
