• Following a 43-point week that included a perfect outing from 3-point range, Taysha Rushton has been named the GPAC Player of the Week. Rushton poured in 29 points in the blowout win at Midland.

  • Both of this week's outings will be on the road, but the Bulldogs won't have to go far as they prepare to take on Doane and College of Saint Mary. Concordia (16-8, 12-6 GPAC) won last week at Midland before a tight loss to fourth-ranked Dordt.

  • In the ultimate test of Concordia's growth, it met up with fourth-ranked Dordt and took the Defenders to the wire. Rebounding and clutch plays down the stretch allowed Dordt to escape Friedrich Arena with a 76-69 win.

  • It was a memorable evening for Taysha Rushton, who went 7-for-7 from 3-point range and led the Bulldogs to a 102-64 trouncing of Midland in Fremont on Wednesday (Feb. 1). Abby Krieser also posted a career best 20 points.

  • The final six games of the regular season will all be against GPAC opponents as Concordia Women’s Basketball turns the page. Fresh off a CIT championship, the Bulldogs are readying to play at Midland and to host No. 3 Dordt.

  • With the return of CIT, the Bulldog Women's Basketball program got back to dominating the event. Behind CIT MVP Taysha Rushton, the Bulldogs suffocated Concordia Chicago in an 85-33 championship game victory on Saturday (Jan. 28).

  • The Bulldogs hit the century mark while mopping the floor with Concordia Wisconsin on day one of the 2023 Concordia Invitational Tournament. Thirteen Bulldogs scored at least five points in the 100-49 victory.

  • A 16-0 third quarter run made the difference on Wednesday (Jan. 25) as the Bulldogs earned a season sweep of Hastings. Abby Krieser led another balanced effort with 14 points as Concordia won, 73-62.

  • The week of CIT will feature wall-to-wall basketball inside Friedrich Arena. On the women's side, the Bulldogs will aim for CIT title No. 31 in program history after they take on Hastings on Wednesday. Concordia is 8-1 over its last nine GPAC games.
