• Concordia trailed by as many as 19 points and still faced a 12-point hole with less than 3:30 remaining on Saturday in Jamestown. Garrett Seagren spurred a frantic rally that came up just short in a 69-64 loss to the 14th-ranked Jimmies.

  • This past weekend's win over Dakota Wesleyan kept the Bulldogs in the thick of things near the top of the GPAC standings. At 7-4 in league play, Concordia has a mid-week bye before hitting the road to play No. 9 Jamestown on Saturday.

  • As a bright spot, Brad Bennett racked up a team high 22 points on Thursday (Jan. 5). However, the Bulldogs struggled defensively and fell flat at Mount Marty, 89-64. Bennett stepped into the starting lineup in the absence of Tristan Smith.

  • A career high 32-point outing has resulted in Noah Schutte being named the GPAC Player of the Week for the second time this 2022-23 season. Schutte leads the Bulldogs with an average of 18.9 points per game.

  • The New Year brings a return to conference action as the Bulldogs are slated to play at Mount Marty and then host Dakota Wesleyan. Noah Schutte comes off a week in which he totaled 51 points in road games versus SAC opponents.

  • The painfully visible injury to Tristan Smith became the story on Friday (Dec. 30) as the Bulldogs wound up falling at USAO, 76-66. Concordia played most of the game without both Smith brothers while leaning heavily upon Noah Schutte.

  • Following a short break for Christmas, the Bulldogs are readying to head south for action at Texas Wesleyan and Science & Arts. Both opponents have been national tournament regulars. Last time out, Concordia dropped a close one at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
