The Concordia and Kansas Wesleyan baseball programs have agreed to call of their scheduled doubleheader for Wednesday (April 3). No makeup date has been set.
This time it was the duo of Jake Fosgett and Tanner Wauhob that dominated on the mound while boosting the Bulldogs to a 10-0 GPAC record. Concordia defeated Briar Cliff, 1-0 and 3-0, on Tuesday (April 2).
Now 8-0 in conference play for the first time in the GPAC era, Concordia looks forward to a challenging week that includes two games at Briar Cliff and a four-game series with Doane.
The Concordia pitching staff was lights out in a pair of blowout wins over Hastings on Sunday (March 31). Jason Munsch and Sasha Jabusch threw pellets while helping the Bulldogs move to 8-0 in the GPAC.
While playing as the 'home' team two-and-a-half hours away, the Bulldogs pushed their GPAC win streak to six while getting big contributions from bullpen arms in a sweep of Midland on Wednesday (March 27).
