Sam Stecher has dedicated more than 26 years to education, serving Nebraska school districts including Kearney Public Schools, East Butler Public Schools and Crete Public Schools in roles ranging from paraprofessional to executive cabinet leadership. Since 2015, he has also served as an adjunct instructor at Concordia University, Nebraska, where he contributes to the development of future educational leaders through teaching and mentorship.

Currently, Stecher works with FranklinCovey Education, supporting schools across Nebraska, Kansas, North Dakota and South Dakota in strengthening leadership, academics and school culture. He is also the co-founder of the educational consulting firm MissionMonday.com and co-author of the books It Happens In The Hallway and Mission Monday, which focus on purpose-driven leadership and everyday culture-building in schools.

Stecher holds an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (2019), a Master of Arts in Secondary Administration from the University of Nebraska–Kearney (2005), and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Social Science from the University of Nebraska–Kearney (1997).

His professional focus centers on empowering individuals to recognize both their capacity and responsibility to lead, while enhancing instructional practices that foster visible engagement and meaningful learning in classrooms.

A highly sought-after national speaker, Stecher has delivered keynotes and featured presentations at conferences and events including the North Dakota Council of Educational Leaders Conference, Nebraska MTSS Summit, Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association Conference, National Youth Advocacy and Resiliency Conference, School Administrators of Iowa Conference, American Camp Association Conferences, Wisconsin Rural Schools Association Conference, Minnesota Rural Education Association Conference, South Dakota Education Virtual Conference, and numerous leadership, education, and community forums across the Midwest.
