Morganne Schreiner serves as Concordia University, Nebraska’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the university’s budget, audit and financial transactions, regulatory compliance, bond covenant requirements, strategic financial planning and forecasting. She brings a strong background in financial modeling, forecasting and strategic systems thinking, all grounded in a deep commitment to Concordia’s Christ-centered mission. 

Schreiner earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance through the university’s accelerated bachelor-to-master program. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Strategic Financial Planning, Analysis and Investments. Her responsibilities included financial analysis for strategic initiatives, endowment administration, financial aid leveraging, project management and institutional reporting. She also co-led the Paul Scholars initiative. 

Schreiner is one of nine children, seven of whom are Concordia Nebraska alumni. Several of her aunts and uncles also graduated from Concordia and her maternal grandfather was a faculty member. She lives in the Seward area with her husband, Jared, and their son, Joe.
