Bethany Zeckzer graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska in 2022 with a degree in music education, a minor in church music, and a Lutheran Teacher Diploma. She studied voice with Adrienne Dickson and composition with David von Kampen and Jeffrey Blersch. In 2022, she won the Richard Hillert Award in Student Composition, sponsored by the Center for Church Music at Concordia University Chicago in partnership with the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians.
Zeckzer currently teaches middle and high school vocal music at Lincoln Lutheran School in Lincoln, Nebraska. She also directs the church handbell choir and the children’s choir at Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln. She operates a private piano studio dedicated to helping all her students develop their musical skills and a lifelong love of music.
