Bethany Landrey has served at Concordia University, Nebraska since 2014. From 2014–2021, she coordinated the Academic Resource Center and Disability Support Services, helping students with diverse academic needs. Since 2022, she has served as assistant registrar, supporting students from enrollment through graduation. In her role, she maintains accurate student records, evaluates transfer credits, manages registration, audits graduation requirements and serves as a resource for students and faculty.

Prior to moving to Seward in 2014, Bethany lived in the Dallas area, where she homeschooled her children and worked in higher education as a disability service coordinator and academic advisor for the Dallas County Community College District.

She holds a B.A. in sociology from Baylor University and an M.S. in counseling and development from Texas Woman’s University.

Bethany is active at St. John Lutheran Church, where she sings in the choir and plays trumpet with the “Wall of Sound.” She has also served on various church committees and enjoys playing trumpet in the broader community.

She and her husband, Peter, who serves in Concordia’s Classroom Innovation & Online Education Department, have two children: Jonathan ’23 and his wife, Makenna ’23, and Jessica. They are also blessed with a granddaughter, Evelyn, and another grandchild on the way.

In her free time, Bethany enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, reading, music and spending time with family and friends.

“It's very meaningful to have the opportunity to serve not only in higher education, but at a place that provides this education to students in a Christ-centered way. Concordia supports and encourages them in their faith and helps them as they explore and prepare for various vocations they will serve others in.”
