He has spent his entire Concordia Nebraska career in admissions, beginning as assistant director before moving into roles as director and now associate vice president of undergraduate enrollment. In his current position, Roberts leads the undergraduate enrollment team, guiding efforts to recruit and enroll the next generation of Concordia students. Roberts also works across campus on broader initiatives related to Concordia’s strategic plan and student support.

Roberts holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in English from North Central University in Minneapolis.

He and his wife, Tara, have three children: Grace, Alex and Will. The Roberts family is active at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Seward, where Roberts has served on the Concordia Student Care Board and the Finance Committee.

Aaron enjoys college basketball and football, cheering for the University of Michigan, traveling, trying new foods, learning history and exploring new cultures. He also enjoys films and reading.

“Too many colleges were founded as Christian but drifted from that cornerstone over their tenure—working at Concordia is a blessing as our firm commitment to being grounded in Christ is as strong today as when we were founded in 1894. ”
