Students Debut Works at Fall 2023 Composers Recital
On November 7th, Concordia University, Nebraska’s music department hosted its Fall 2023 Composers Recital.
Included in the program were pieces composed by six different Concordia students. The pieces included works for organ, voice, flute, and piano.
Samuel Dunbar, a junior who composed a piece for four flutes appreciated the opportunity to see people’s personalities shine through at the recital. “The Composer’s Recital presents a unique opportunity for students to work collaboratively and to show who they are through their music. It is fun to work with friends and to show what we have learned and produced.”
