Music Students Perform Spring 2022 Chamber Recital
Concordia music students recently performed during the Spring 2022 Chamber Recital on April 1 at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, presenting music by Antonio Vivaldi, Franz Schubert, James Erb, William Horsley, Euday L. Bowman, and Kendra Johnson.
"Our music students have many opportunities to perform individually and as members of large ensembles. This recital, which takes place once every semester, gives them a chance to perform in small ensembles. These chamber groups are completely student-led, which means the students choose the music, learn their parts, and rehearse together,.” said Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo, professor of music. “The students take great pride in their performances, and there's always a wonderful variety of music on the program, especially since this recital continues to grow in popularity."
