The No. 5 Bulldogs registered their third conference triumph over Midland on Tuesday night inside Friedrich Arena. CUNE Women’s Basketball swarmed the visiting Warriors taking 45 points off turnovers in the 92-41 route.
Following a near miss at No. 1 Dordt, the fifth-ranked Bulldogs will be back at home on Tuesday to host Midland. Kendal Brigham enters the contest needing 12 points to reach 1,000 for her career.
Fifth-ranked Concordia turned a 12-point fourth-quarter deficit into a three-point lead before eventually falling in overtime at No. 1 Dordt, 94-84. Kristin Vieselmeyer posted a career-high 27 points.
Thirteen Bulldogs registered in the scoring column as part of an 87-53 home blowout of CSM on Wednesday (Nov. 20). The Concordia bench accounted for 53 points, led by 15 from Sammy Leu.
In the first full week of conference play, the fifth-ranked Bulldogs will host College of Saint Mary before then hitting the road to take on No. 1 Dordt. Concordia opened league play with a win over Morningside.
The No. 5 Bulldogs met with the Mustangs inside Friedrich Arena breaking into conference play on Saturday afternoon. Concordia University, Women’s Basketball hit double digit threes as the lead changed 10 times in the GPAC victory.
Coming off a win at No. 6 Dakota State, the fifth-ranked Bulldogs now return home to host Morningside to open GPAC play. Head Coach Drew Olson's program placed second in the GPAC last season.
When Dakota State whittled a 15-point Concordia lead down to six, the fifth-ranked Bulldogs responded impressively while getting two clutch treys from Megan Belt. Concordia won in South Dakota, 64-54.
In a quick turnaround, Concordia pushed NCAA Division I Northern Colorado to the wire on Monday, just two days after completing the Cattle Classic. Now the fifth-ranked Bulldogs look ahead to a trip to South Dakota.
No. 5 Concordia trimmed a 10-point fourth quarter deficit down to two before being edged by 10th-ranked Southern Oregon, 71-68, at the Cattle Classic. The Bulldogs were led by the 18 points from Kendal Brigham.
