It took the contributions of many for the Concordia baseball team to grind out a win in game two of Tuesday (Feb. 11)'s doubleheader at Sterling College. The Bulldogs split the twin bill with both games decided by one run.
After a 3-1 opening weekend, the Concordia baseball team is slated to play six more times in the state of Kansas this week. The opponents include Sterling, Saint Mary and Benedictine.
Nick Little calmed things down in Sunday's first game before Concordia equaled a school record with a 16-run inning in the series capper. When the dust settled, Concordia had won three of four from McPherson.
Behind the likes of Evan Bohman and Jason Munsch, the Bulldogs opened their 2020 season with a victory at McPherson College. The scheduled second game of the doubleheader had to be suspended due to darkness.
