Organ concert brings multiple generations to the bench

Casavant Frères delivers Opus 3868
It took a semi-truck to deliver Concordia's newest musical instrument April 22. The organ, constructed by Casavant Frères in Quebec, was unloaded into the recently renovated recital hall in the Music Center on Concordia's campus. [MORE]
The University A Cappella Choir concludes tour
In March the University A Cappella Choir toured the upper Midwest, presenting concerts and giving assemblies and clinics at area churches and schools. The concert program Included works by J. S. Concordia’s Department of Music has released its latest CD from the University A Cappella Choir, “In Thy Sweet Humility: A Concordia Christmas.” The disc features familiar carols, anthems and hymns based on the Advent and Nativity of Jesus Christ gathered from the past five years of the annual Christmas at Concordia concert.
