Registration Summer 2014
Registration for the summer semester for all students begins on Tuesday, March 25. No alt pin is needed for summer registration.
Summer courses must be dropped on the third day of the course for a full refund. There are no partial refunds for summer courses.
Summer Course Withdrawal Deadlines-Seward Campus
1 week course = 4th day
2 week course = 8th day
3 week course = 12th day
4 week course = 16th day
5 week course = 20th day
6 week course = 24th day
7 week course = 28th day
8 week course = 32nd day
Contact the registrar's office for withdrawal dates on additional courses. Students should contact the registrar's office by the above dates to request a withdraw from a summer course. The above dates are also the same deadlines to elect pass/no record credit.
Registration Fall 2014
Students begin fall registration on the following dates:
Seniors: Tuesday, March 25
Juniors: Thursday, March 27
Sophomores: Tuesday, April 1
Freshmen: Tuesday, April 8
Registration begins at 6 am on the above dates.
Online registration will remain open until the last day to add/drop on Monday, September 1.
Graduation December 2014
Traditional undergraduate students at the Seward campus who plan to graduate in December should notify the Registrar's Office by submitting a graduation application. Applications are due by September 19.
There is no commencement ceremony in December. Graduates are invited to participate in the commencement ceremony at the Seward campus on May 9, 2015.
Reminders about Degrees
Note on credit hours
All undergraduate students who started their degree at Concordia before the 2013-14 academic year must complete at least 128 credit hours in order to receive a degree. A second bachelor's degree requires an additional 30 semester hours, or a minimum of 158 hours. Please see the Registrar's Office for exceptions to this policy.
All students who start their degree at Concordia in the 2013-14 academic year and after must complete a minimum of 120 hours for one degree, and an additional 30 hours for two degrees.
Note: degrees are not the same as majors. See your undergraduate catalog for a list of majors. The following are the traditional undergraduate degrees offered at Concordia:
- Bachelor of Science in Education
- Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Music
- Bachelor of Fine Arts
Students accept full responsibility for meeting all requirements for graduation. This includes keeping track of the minimum number of hours required for graduation.
