Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC at Concordia University Nebraska

Concordia University Nebraska offers classes in partnership with the Big Red Battalion-Army ROTC and Detachment 465-Air Force ROTC, both based at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL) campus.

Course Registration: You must coordinate with the Concordia Registrar’s Office to set up course registration for these courses. You can contact them at Registrar@cune.edu.

Scheduling & Commuting: You are fully responsible for managing the commute and scheduling logistics between Concordia campus and ROTC located on the UNL campus for labs and physical training. Careful planning of your class schedule is required to accommodate necessary travel time to commute between campuses for on-time attendance.

ROTC Scholarships: If you have been awarded an ROTC scholarship, you will need to contact the CUNE Student Financial Services Office. This ensures you fully understand your options, have your questions answered, your financial aid is properly calculated, and you understand how your student account balance may be impacted.

“I went to basic training at the age of 17 and Iraq at 19. After coming back, I realized I needed a support system and to be part of a community again. At Concordia, people care about whether you do well or not.”
