Rev. Greg DeMuth has served as an adjunct instructor at Concordia University, Nebraska since 2022, teaching primarily within the school counseling and certificate programs. His academic and professional interests focus on childhood trauma and recovery, as well as the pastoral care of trauma survivors, integrating theological formation, psychological insight and trauma-informed practice.
Rev. DeMuth brings nearly four decades of vocational experience to his teaching, including 19 years as an LCMS pastor and 19 years as a Lutheran educator and marriage and family therapist. His background allows him to offer students a deeply integrated perspective that bridges ministry, education, counseling and clinical care.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts with a Director of Christian Education (DCE) endorsement from Concordia University, Nebraska; a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch New England; completed alternate-route pastoral studies in 2006; and earned Level I and II certificates in Narrative Focused Trauma Care from the Allender Center at the Seattle School of Theology & Psychology (2022–2023).
Rev. DeMuth is married to Debra. They are the parents of Eleora and son-in-law James. As a family, they share a deep love for the Colorado Rockies and the mountains of northern New England. His personal interests include cycling, playing guitar, reading and grilling.
