Debbie Brutlag has served as the Music Administrative Assistant since 2019. She runs general operations, special events and projects for the music department, as well as managing the Borland Center. She is the first stop for music majors with questions about their program or the department. Previously, she served in Concordia’s Advancement Office as their events coordinator and secretary for Concordia Foundation Nebraska.
Debbie first attended at Concordia College in Bronxville, New York, then later transferred to and graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska where she took music and art courses. She graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art. She returned to Seward in 2011 and is an member at St. John Lutheran Church, where she enjoys playing violin and singing in the choir for worship services.
