I love being able to learn about health issues in the world and understanding that with this knowledge I’ll be able to make a difference in the world after I graduate.

“Community health is such a diverse major, and there are many different types of jobs and opportunities to choose from,” says Kendra Dinkel. “I love being able to learn about health issues in the world and understanding that with this knowledge I’ll be able to make a difference in the world after I graduate.”

Kendra plans to apply to nursing school after graduation, and feels like the community health classes she’s taking will give her a better general understanding of health topics, making her a well-rounded health professional.

Until then, Kendra will continue to study. “My favorite class is anatomy,” she says. “It is a challenging class, but I love being able to have confidence in the knowledge that I gained from the class. I know that when I leave Concordia I will be ahead of the game when advancing my education because of the level of my classes.”
