Pastors are spiritual leaders, comforters, and healers. What major could be better for a future pastor than communications studies? Jonathan Jahnke is planning on going to the seminary after his graduation from Concordia University, Nebraska. “I love talking to people,” he says. “I love getting to build relationships. My experiences here are going to be a huge benefit for my ministry later in life.”

Jonathan knows that communications studies are important for more than just future pastors as well. It’s a major that can adapt to many different careers and futures. “The critical thinking skills—it’s a form of art,” he says. “No one else can think the way you can.
