One of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies, Twelfth Night, was on stage at the Seward band shell for the opening performance of Concordia's 2010-2011 theatre season. Performances were held Sept. 25-26 in the afternoon.

Concordia seniors Nikki Baker, Arvada, Colo., and Rachel Boylan, Corinth, Texas, co-directed the play and had been looking forward to giving performances in the Seward community.

"Ever since I first saw the band shell, I had thought it would be really neat for Concordia to do something there, and that it would be a cool spot for Shakespeare," said Baker.

"By using the band shell we can make the performance even more accessible to the community," said Boylan. "It's just a good, entertaining play."
