Eleven of Concordia’s premier musicians performed in the spring honor recital April 19.
Students were selected to perform based on auditions judged by a panel of Concordia’s full-time music faculty. The recital served as an opportunity for these musicians to showcase a bit of their talent.
“I felt very honored to be selected for the second semester in a row,” said freshman Jordan Miller. “It is an honor I do not take lightly, and I give all the glory to God for the great gift He has given me.”
Musicians mastered their performance repertoire through private voice lessons and hours of rehearsal each week. “I had to learn the piece at a much faster pace than I normally would have, which can be difficult,” said freshman Brianna Ritter. “I felt very blessed and grateful, especially as a freshman, to be able to participate.”
