Premier musicians to perform in spring honor recital at Concordia

Concordia students perform in the university’s Recital Hall in the Music Building for its semiannual honor recital; this year’s recital is scheduled for March 26 at 7 p.m.

The semiannual honor recital at Concordia will showcase the vocal and instrumental talents of nine student musicians. The recital will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, in the Music Center Recital Hall. The concert is free, and the public is invited to attend.

Musicians are chosen to perform based on auditions judged by music department faculty. The recital is held twice a year, once each semester. 

Participants in this year’s spring honor recital include (alphabetical by state, city and last name):

  • Laura Hedstrom, sophomore, Oxford, Neb., organ
