Prairie burned to help with land management

The Seward Volunteer Fire Department leads a controlled burn on the Concordia prairie April 12.

The Seward Volunteer Fire Department led a prescribed burn of Concordia’s prairie April 12, burning three of the five acres. This will allow students to clear invasive plants and replant with others they’ve been raising from seeds.
