Disney engineer launches first worship arts Live Sound course for Concordia

Paul Heintzen, worship arts instructor for Concordia and senior Walt Disney World audio technician, kicked off the first worship arts Live Sound course.
Students experienced their first observation visits at Holy Savior Lutheran Church and Christ Lutheran Church (Room 211) in Lincoln, Neb., on March 20. The class will study live sound techniques commonly used in the context of worship.
Heintzen has mixed a variety of church, LCMS District and national LCMS events. His commercial experience includes the Indiana Jones show, the Barbie show, the Grant Park festival in Chicago Illinois, Lou Diamond Phillips band, and a career full of work with other bands, ensembles, and special events.
