Concordia's Chamber Orchestra presents spring semester concert

The Concordia University, Nebraska Chamber Orchestra will hold its spring semester performance at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in the Recital Hall of the Music Center on campus.
The group has been focusing on string quartet music as well as major classical composers, including Handel, Haydn, Faure and more.
“The string ensemble is made up of Concordia students – many of whom are playing their second or third instrument – and community members,” said David von Kampen, conductor of the Chamber Orchestra. “This group works every week to develop the building blocks of cohesive ensemble playing.”
