Concordia University, Nebraska celebrates golden reunion with the Class of 1967

Members of the Class of 1967 will gather at Concordia University, Nebraska, May 4-7, for their golden reunion.

The class of 1967 will reunite for its 50th anniversary May 4-7 as part of the Concordia University, Nebraska, commencement activities. The Class of 1967 will lead the commencement processional on May 6, 2017, at 10 a.m. and be recognized during the ceremony.

“The Class of 1967 is excited to be back together and reminisce regarding their time when they were in school here at Concordia Teachers College,” said director of alumni and university relations, Jennifer Furr. “This year’s class is especially excited and as a special experience, they’ve already ordered Valentino’s pizza for one of their evening celebration dinners!”

Social gatherings will celebrate the class’ anniversary on both Thursday and Saturday evenings. Class members will be honored at a luncheon with current graduates on Friday and at a dinner with Concordia President Rev. Dr. Brian Friedrich prior to the baccalaureate service on Friday night. The class of 1967 is also invited to attend a Sunday morning brunch.
