Concordia theatre puts on annual Children’s Play

The Concordia University, Nebraska theater department presented its annual children’s play on October 3 in the Borland Black Box Theatre. There were two performances. This year’s production was The Commedia Tales of King Arthur by Lane Riosley.
The play is about a troupe of actors telling stories about King Arthur. The stories include tales of how Arthur became king, how Arthur and Princess Guinevere meet, how Arthur slays a dragon, and some other quests Arthur and his knights complete.
Student director Sarah Stepp says, “The children’s play is meant to be a fun experience for children to see stories they might know and love in a new way.”
Around 140 people attended the two showings of the play.
